Bear and Cub Indoor Play Centre
At Bear and Cub Play Centre in Bendigo, Victoria, we’ve created a space where parents and young children can relax, connect, and enjoy meaningful time together, rain, hail, or shine.
Designed with both children and parents in mind, our calm and welcoming environment encourages imagination, movement, and connection. Inside, you’ll find a creative play space, open areas with active equipment and push toys, and a dedicated baby and pre-walker section for safe, age-appropriate play.
We know how important it is for parents to feel comfortable too. That’s why our space includes cosy seating, a relaxed atmosphere, and a dedicated eating area where families can enjoy their own snacks and drinks. When the sun’s out, our outdoor play space *coming soon* is perfect for a bit of fresh air and sunshine.
Bear and Cub is more than just a play centre, it’s a community hub. We offer flexible visit options including casual entry, ten-play passes, and monthly memberships for unlimited play. We also host private birthday party bookings, giving families exclusive use of the venue for special celebrations.

To keep our space safe and enjoyable for everyone, we have capacity limits in place. Walk-ins are welcome when space allows, but booking ahead is the best way to secure your spot and avoid disappointment.

Ready for a real break while your little ones have a magical hour of play? Book a Playdate with Maleah, our trusted, experienced team member who will lead up to 3 children (siblings or friends) through crafts, stories, and gentle play, while you relax on-site at Bear and Cub.

Celebrate Life’s Little Milestones!
Our space is available for private hire every Saturday and Sunday afternoon from 1pm for just $250. Booking is simple. Just pick your preferred time online. There’s no time limit, so you and your guests can relax and enjoy your celebration for as long as you like.
Add unlimited coffee and hot drinks for your guests for $50, or guests can purchase their own drinks from our staff member on duty on the day.
Perfect for hosting special occasions like 1st birthdays, baby sprinkles, family reunions, baby showers, and toddler birthday parties. We can even host your next mum and bub catch up!
Our $250 hire fee includes exclusive access to our entire indoor play centre for up to 20 children and 30 adults.
What's Included:
- Exclusive use of the entire venue.
- 1 hour setup time prior to your event.
- Post-event cleaning handled by our team.
- Use of the kitchenette facilities including microwave, sink, and kettle.
- 2x jugs for water.
- 2x trestle tables with white table clothes (you are of course welcome to bring your own table clothes to suit your decor).
Please Note:
- Catering is not provided. Feel free to bring your own food and drinks.
- We do not supply any extras such as cups, plates, napkins, or serving items, so please bring everything you need for your celebration.
- You're welcome to bring your own decorations to personalise our space, we love seeing your creativity! We kindly ask that all decorations be taken down and removed from the venue by the host at the end of your event.
